RSL NSW Sport & Recreation Program brings diverse activities for all members

With more than 220 events underway across the state, veterans and their families are embracing the RSL NSW Sport & Recreation Program. Whether it’s coming together for some friendly competition on the bowling green, learning new skills like Muay Thai or pottery, hitting the bulls-eye in a game of darts, there’s something for everyone.

Research showed that engaging in sports and physical activities significantly enhances the wellbeing of veterans. Involvement in recreational groups and socially supported physical activities has also proven to be effective in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression among veterans.
