Support is always available

Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling is Australia’s leading provider of high-quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services for Australian veterans and their families.

Formerly known as Vietnam Veterans’ Counselling Service (VVCS), the Australian Government expanded the services to veterans of all conflicts, their families, and other members of the ADF and ex-service community over ten years ago.

Australia’s Vietnam veterans have ensured that future generations of serving men and women have access to the specialised mental health and wellbeing support at Open Arms.

Services include:

  • Counselling
  • Treatment programs and workshops
  • Community and peer program
  • Suicide intervention
  • Crisis accommodation
  • Self-help tools

Open Arms offers 24hr crisis support to current serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
