Attend the service

The 2023 NSW Remembrance Day service will take place for invited guests and the general public at the Cenotaph in Martin Place, Sydney, between 10.30am and 11.30am.

 

The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend the service to pay their respects. Limited seating will be provided for members of the public. Once seats are filled, any other members of the public wishing to watch the service must do so from beyond the seated area.

The service will be live streamed on the NSW Government website. The live stream will start at 10:30am, and the official service will commence at approx. 10:45am.

 

Where to buy a Poppy

Poppies will be available in the Sydney CBD on Friday 10 November from 7am to 2pm.

RSL sub-Branches will be selling poppies in local communities, please contact your local sub-Branch for more information.

 

Free travel

Free travel on most NSW public transport services is available to current and former members of the Defence Force and their carers; spouses, children or grandchildren of deceased and living Members of the Australian Defence Force. Find out more here.
