The Invictus Games The Hague 2020 Rescheduled

Invictus Games

Early this morning, the Board of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, along with the  Invictus Games Foundation made the difficult decision to postpone the games amid concerns around COVID-19 and restrictions put in place around travel and social gatherings.

The hope is that the games can be rescheduled for 2021.

“It is very disappointing for all of the competitors and families involved in the upcoming Invictus Games” said RSL NSW Acting President Ray James. “We are still so proud of what our Australian competitors have achieved as part of their recovery, and look forward to cheering them on at future events.”

The RSL will continue to support Australian veterans looking to take part in the Invictus Games, or who are simply just looking to get active in their local communities, through the Veteran Sport Australia program.
