Response to NSW Bushfires

Members will be aware that NSW is experiencing severe bushfires and our thoughts are with those who have lost homes and loved ones. Veterans and their families impacted by the fires can access support from RSL DefenceCare by following the below link and completing the application form for disaster assistance.

APPLICATION FOR DISASTER FUND ASSISTANCE

Many sub-Branches have contacted ANZAC House seeking information on how they can best support their comrades in fire affected areas. This is a great example of mateship and the League coming together for a common purpose.

If your sub-Branch and its members would like to assist RSL DefenceCare in its efforts to provide support to veterans and their families impacted by the bushfires, you can make a contribution to RSL NSW using one of the below options:

EFT:

  • Account Name: RSL NSW
  • BSB: 062 016
  • Account Number: 00000741
  • Reference: Disaster fund assistance

Cheque: Payable to RSL NSW. Mailed to:

  • ANZAC House, Level 5, 341 George St, Sydney NSW 2000
  • Reference: Disaster fund assistance
