Young veteran research: top 10 insights

Younger veterans told us about themselves. Here’s what we heard. 

RSL NSW has recently undertaken rigorous and in-depth research into the needs and preferences of younger veterans to ensure the support and services provided through our sub-Branches, advocates and charity partner RSL NSW LifeCare Veteran Services are hitting the mark.

The research included a short survey completed by more than 700 members of the veteran community, 27 hours of one-on-one interviews with young veterans and their partners, and a long survey completed by 886 people scaling the valuable insights and providing empirical data.

During the research period, the participating veterans and their families showed and told us a lot about themselves – here are 10 insights they shared.
