City of Wollongong RSL sub-Branch | Salute Golf Day

This year’s golf day will take place on Friday, 1 November at the Wollongong Golf Club. Not only is this a wonderful day of golf and camaraderie, but it also helps raise funds for the RSL NSW Veterans Support Fund, providing critical support to veterans and their families.
As an RSL member, you are entitled to a 50% discount on the registration fee!
The event will follow the popular Ambrose format, ensuring golfers of all levels can participate. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, this is a fantastic opportunity to have fun while making a meaningful contribution to supporting our veterans.
Event Details:
- Date: Friday, 1 November 2024
- Time: Registration starts at 6:30 AM with a bacon and egg roll breakfast, followed by an 8:00 AM shotgun start.
- Location: Wollongong Golf Club
- Format: Ambrose (teams of four)
- Cost: $500 + GST for a team of four, with RSL members receiving a 50% discount
- Lunch and Awards Ceremony: BBQ buffet lunch and a presentation ceremony at the 1897 Garden Bar + Terrace.
You can enter a team of four to represent your sub-Branch, or if you prefer to register individually, we’ll be happy to find a team for you on the day. This ensures that everyone can participate and contribute to the Veterans Support Fund.
We encourage all members to register early to secure your spot. As mentioned previously if you don’t have a team, we’ll gladly place you with other participants.
