RSL Congratulates The Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery

The Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL) has congratulated the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery on the occasion of its 150th Anniversary.

National President Greg Melick has extended his warmest congratulations on behalf of the members of RSL Australia, to the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery that commemorates 150 years of continuous service on Sunday 1 August 2021.

“The Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery is in integral component of the Australian Defence force and has played a vital role in conflicts over many years,” Greg Melick said.

“One and a half centuries of continuous service is an outstanding achievement and all Gunners who have served in the Royal Regiment deserve our thanks and best wishes on this great occasion.”

Following a Commemorative Service, a National Salute will commence in Canberra at 12:40 EST, with Salutes also to be fired by Gunner units around the country.

“Good shooting and Ubique from the RSL to all Gunners,” Greg Melick said.
