Are you ready to join the RSL NSW City2Surf Team on the start line on Sunday 11 August? This newsletter will help you get there, with three key messages:

• The venue for our post-race celebration
• How to access free training videos on the RSL NSW website
• A recap of important information about bib collection

The venue for our post-race celebration is… Hotel Bondi! 

We are excited to announce the RSL NSW City2Surf Team post-race celebration will be held at Hotel Bondi, overlooking the City2Surf finish line and the iconic Bondi Beach.

Participants will have access to an exclusive team area and balcony, as well as stretching and decompression spaces. Want to recharge post-race? Head directly to Hotel Bondi (located at 178 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach) after you cross the finish line to enjoy complimentary food and drinks, and camaraderie with your teammates.

Pre-race training videos are now live: 

To help you prepare for race day, RSL NSW has teamed up with an exercise physiologist to create a series of pre-race training videos. These videos cater for all experience levels and are designed to be used in conjunction with a personalised plan from a qualified trainer or coach. The videos are free to access on the City2Surf page of the RSL NSW website.

A big thanks to RSL NSW City2Surf Team members Gary, Giuliana and Dan from Victoria Barracks who assisted with the filming of the videos.

Don’t forget! Plan to collect your race bib and T-shirt: 

All participant bibs will need to be collected from RSL NSW HQ (ANZAC House). There are two options for collection:

• Collect from ANZAC House (Level 11, 175 Pitt Street Sydney) from Monday 5 August to Thursday 8 August 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 9 August 8:30 am to Midday.
• Collect on race day at the pre-race breakfast function at ANZAC House.

When you collect your bib, you will also receive your free RSL NSW Sport & Recreation Program T-shirt and wristband for the post-race celebration.

Please note: Even if you registered directly with City2Surf during the free shipping period and then transferred to the RSL NSW City2Surf Team, you will need to collect your bib from ANZAC House.

Be sure to keep checking the City2Surf page on the RSL NSW website for important updates. Start times for each wave are still being finalised by City2Surf organisers so, as soon as they have been announced, a timeline for all RSL NSW team participants will be shared online.
