Bib Collection

Bib collection will be available from ANZAC House (Level 11, 175 Pitt Street Sydney):

  • Monday 5 August to Thursday 8 August 8:30 am to 5 pm,
  • Friday 9 August 8:30 am to Midday.
  • Bibs will also be available for collection on race day at the pre-race function at ANZAC House.

Bib Collection will also include your team gear and wristband for the post-race celebration at Hotel Bondi (Level 2).

Please note if you registered directly with City2Surf during the free shipping period and then transferred to the RSL NSW Team your bib will be sent to RSL NSW for collection.

Bag Drop

We have limited capabilities for bag drop at ANZAC House.
If you live in Sydney please use the City2Surf bag drop.
You can also donate clothes on race day at the City2Surf race start.
If you are unable to use the City2Surf bag drop please email events@rslnsw.org.au to request an alternate bag drop arrangements.

Race Day Timings

Below you will find timings for race day activities, times for 2024 have now been confirmed. All RSL NSW participants are invited to join the team for a pre-race function at ANZAC House, before walking to the start line at Macquarie Street.

For those not joining at ANZAC House pre-race function, please ensure you meet at the Cenotaph in Martin Place for your team photo.

If you are running in the Green Wave or Elite Wave, please check the City2Surf website for start times.

Have you completed your RSL NSW waiver?

There are two separate waivers to complete to prepare for race day. Your Active Race Waiver was completed during your race system registration. Additionally, please take 2 minutes to complete your RSL NSW Sport & Recreation Program waiver here prior to race day. 

Getting to and from the race

Free travel on public transport is included with your race registration. Have a copy of your registration confirmation from City2Surf for your trip into the race.

Getting there: ANZAC House (175 Pitt Street Sydney) and The Cenotaph in Martin Place are accessible from Town Hall, Wynyard or Martin Place stations. Martin Place. 

Getting home: Bus access is at the south end of the beach. Please see the attached map as your guide.

Where is ANZAC House located?

175 Pitt Street Sydney
Level 11 for bib collection before race day.
Mezzanine level for the pre-race function.

Can I collect my race bib before the day?

Yes, come to ANZAC House (Level 11, 175 Pitt Street Sydney) during the following days and times 

  • Monday 5 August to Thursday 8 August 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
  • Friday 9 August 8:30 AM to Midday. 

Bibs will also be available for collection on race day at the pre-race function at ANZAC House. 

RSL NSW takes no responsibility for lost race bibs once collected from ANZAC House.

Can someone else collect my bib?

Yes, during the times below. Ensure the person collecting your bib has your name as it appears on your registration and mobile number.

  • Limited to 1 x A4 size bag per person (or family), and,
  • Contact the Events Team: events@rslnsw.org.au
Photography and Filming

Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the day including: at the pre-race function and post-race celebration. Imagery will be used by RSL NSW for marketing and communications in their publications, on their website on social media or in any third-party publication.

Please select NO on your RSL NSW Sport & Recreation Program waiver if you wish for your image to not be used.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
  2. Entry is open to veterans, and family members of veterans, who are on the RSL NSW City2Surf Team.
  3. The promotion is available from 7.00am (AEST) Friday, 12 July 2024 until 11.59pm (AEST) Thursday, 8 August 2024, or while stocks last. To enter the promotion, participants need to share a post about their pre-race preparation on Instagram or Facebook, tag @rslnsw and #rslnswsport and have their profile set to public, or email a photo of their training progress to sportandrecreation@rslnsw.org.au.
  4. All complying entries received while, stocks last, will receive a prize and will be notified by direct message. Winners can collect their prize from the RSL NSW at the pre-race or post-race City2Surf functions on Sunday 11 August 2024. Prizes not collected on the day will be forfeited and will not be posted to winners.
  5. Prize details: RSL NSW branded sports cap. The Promotion is limited to one (1) prize per participant.
  6. A single prize in this promotion is under $50 in value. The total value of all prizes will be capped at $10,000.
  7. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  8. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected emails or mail.
  9. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
  10. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:

(a) inaccurate or incorrect transcription of entry information; 
(b) non-receipt of entries for any reason; 
(c) problems or technical failures of any kind; 
(d) unavailability or inaccessibility of any service or website; 
(e) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the promotion; 
(f) electronic or human error; or 
(g) any damage or loss (direct or indirect) suffered by reason of any act or omission of the Promoter, its employees or contractors in relation to entry into this promotion or supply of a prize. 

  1. Employees of the Promoter are not eligible to participate in the promotion.
  2. Any disputes regarding promotion or claiming a prize will be resolved at the discretion of the Promoter.
