Attend the service

The 2024 NSW Remembrance Day service will take place for invited guests and the general public at the Cenotaph in Martin Place, Sydney, between 10.30am and 11.30am.

 

Limited seating will be provided for members of the public, which can be accessed from George Street. Standing areas are accessible from both George Street and Pitt Street.

 

Invited guests are asked to enter the site via Pitt Street.

 

Bag checks will be required upon entry to the site.

A designated accessible viewing area will be available at the Cenotaph in Martin Place for people with disability and/or limited mobility and their family, friends and carers.

Where to buy a Poppy

Poppies will be available on Remembrance Day from 7am to 12pm at Martin Place, Wynyard station, Town Hall station and other locations in the Sydney CBD. They can also be purchased at the Anzac Memorial shop from 1 November.

 

RSL NSW sub-Branches will be selling poppies in local communities, please contact your local sub-Branch for more information.

 

Free travel

Free travel on most NSW public transport services is available to current and former members of the Defence Force and their carers; spouses, children or grandchildren of deceased and living Members of the Australian Defence Force. Find out more here.
