As per Circular 36/24 the Coogee Randwick Clovelly RSL Sub-branch is planning an MEAO Commemorative service at High Cross Park Randwick commencing at 1200. There will be an opportunity to lay wreaths at the memorial: https://www.warmemorialsregister.nsw.gov.au/memorials/randwick-district-war-memorial Parking is challenging in the vicinity and attendees must use and obey pedestrian crossing signage. A pedestrian warden will be in attendance. The service is planned to be completed by 1245. Eastern District Sub-branch members, Veterans and families are then invited to the Coogee Diggers Club for a Veterans Family Day with children’s entertainment and a light rock band. Light finger food will be provided by the Sub-branch. Representatives from various Defence Support agencies will be in location for support inquiries. There is no fee for RSL NSW Sub-branch members, Veterans and families however all attendees must sign in to the Club and there may be slight delays gaining access for that reason.
