Circular 8/22 Update Members as ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’ in the sub-Branch portal

I refer to Circular 42/21 and Circular 48/21 regarding fee-free memberships and the associated processes for maintaining member records in the sub-Branch Portal. ANZAC House advised that member records would automatically default to ‘Inactive’ (formerly known as ‘Unfinancial’) on 1 January 2022.

Please note that only the name of the member status has been changed. ‘Financial’ or ‘Unfinancial’ has been changed to ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’.

Honorary Secretaries, or the person responsible for maintaining membership records in the sub-Branch Portal, should follow the same process of making a member ‘Financial’ to ‘Active’ for a member that wishes to remain a member. If the member does not want to remain a member of RSL NSW, please do not change the status from ‘Inactive’.

To ensure that members of your sub-Branch receive the March edition of Reveille, please update your members who wish to remain ‘Active’ in the “renewals” tab of your sub-Branch portal by 15 February. This is a good opportunity to review members contact details including their postal and email address.
