Circular 50/23 Veteran Support Fund funding application form

Further to Circular 44/23, Honorary Secretaries are encouraged to note the following details in relation to the Veteran Support Fund (VSF). 

The VSF Funding Proposal Application Form has been updated and can be found in the Resource Centre of the sub-Branch Portal at SOPs and Policies > Forms > Funding Proposal Form. The form has been updated for ease of use. 

If a sub-Branch wishes to nominate charitable initiatives for inclusion in the (VSF) for 2024, please complete the Funding Proposal Application Form and submit it to your respective District President, who will subsequently submit all nominations from the District to the District Presidents’ Council (DPC) for review.  

The form must be submitted to your District President by 30 September 2023 in preparation for consideration at the District Presidents’ Council meeting. All VSF initiatives for 2024 will be confirmed on 1 November 2023. 

On an ongoing basis, sub-Branches can submit proposals for the VSF to their District Presidents at any time during the year and submissions made after 31 March will be considered for inclusion by the DPC in the following year’s VSF targets. For example, submissions made after 31 March 2024, will be considered for inclusion in the VSF for 2025.
