Circular 26/23 Club engagement resources now available in the Member Recruitment Toolkit

In collaboration with ClubsNSW and RSL & Services Clubs Association, under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in August 2022, ANZAC House is pleased to announce the expansion of the Member Recruitment Toolkit with new resources for use by all RSL sub-Branches in engaging the services, facilities and support of local clubs.

The resources are designed to support the intent of the MoU, initiative 4.4 of the RSL NSW Strategic Plan, in enhancing the mutual connection between RSL sub-Branches and clubs and supporting a renewed focus on the delivery of outcomes for veterans and their families in communities across NSW.

The resources included in the Clubs Engagement Tools:

  • ‘Working Together for Veterans and their Families’ – a working with clubs guide to help initiate and promote partnership with your local club to engage those veterans and Defence families who are not yet members of RSL NSW.
  • Membership Posters for clubs, designed in multiple sizes for display around clubs, whether at reception as a small pull-up banner, on the back of the bathroom stall, or on the wall in the club.
  • ‘Something’s Brewing’ coasters with QR code to membership page, to be used in the cafes, restaurants, and bars.
  • All existing Member Recruitment Toolkit items.

The Clubs Engagement Tools are located in the sub-Branch Portal under the ‘Be on Brand’ category, the Recruitment and Event Tools are also located here, along with the Veteran Services Card and printing specifications.

Sub-Branches are encouraged to work with local print companies and clubs to print, share, and display these resources. Alternatively, Officeworks offers online ordering and delivery. The resources have been shared by ClubsNSW and the RSL & Services Clubs Association with clubs across NSW.
