1956 - 1960:
19th National Service Training Battalion intake 3/56 at Gallipoli Barracks, Holsworthy. Then with The Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC), Katoomba, from 1956 to 1960.

1995 - 1996:
Served with the United Nations Civilian Police (UNCIVPOL) in Cyprus with the Australian Civilian Police Contingent (AUSCIVPOL) as the Officer in Charge of the 45th AUSCIVPOL Contingent to the UNCIVPOL Cypryus, completing his term of duty as Commander of the 45th and 46th AUSCIVPOL Contingents in 1996.

General Information

Married 54 years to Joy; we have two sons (Bill Harrigan former top Rugby League referee and Gregory Harrigan – Detective Chief Superintendent in the AFP – and one daughter Dianne). We now have thirteen grandchildren. Enjoys swimming, reading, golf, training and travel especially sea cruises. Member of the Sydney Cricket Ground; Moore Park Golf Club; Life Member City Tattersalls Club; and other local clubs.
