2018 Constitutional Consultation Sessions Blog

President James Brown and team members from ANZAC House have commenced a series of constitutional consultation sessions with members across the state, providing an opportunity for members to hear about the draft constitution, share their opinions and ask questions. 

The first of these sessions were held at Bowral followed by Goulburn and Queanbeyan on Monday 10th September. 

Here are some images taken during week one of the sessions. 



Monday 10 September The team from ANZAC House hit the road, starting in Sydney with sessions taking place in Bowral, Goulburn, followed by Queanbeyan on the first day.

Members came together at the Queanbeyan session, including a member all the way from Junee.

Wednesday 12 September The ANZAC House team travelled to Wagga Wagga to meet with members who came from near and far.  



Thank you to all the members who attended the session from Wagga Wagga, Leeton, Albury, Tumbarumba, Tumut, Gundagai, Cootamundra, Corowa, Holbrook, and Temora.







Sunday 16 September The ANZAC House team met with members in Singleton. 



And were treated to Rhonda McCrone's (from the Singleton Auxiliary) delicious scones! 



Monday 17 September President James Brown and the team met with members in Cardiff and surrounding sub-Branches. 



After spending the morning with members in Cardiff, the team travelled to Taree to meet with members at Club Taree. 



After the consultation session, President James Brown and State Secretary Jeff O'Brien had the opportunity to catch up with members. 



Tuesday 18th September Today was spent catching up with members in Port Macquarie. 



State Councillor Scott Seccombe (who is always up for a chat) joined the ANZAC House team for this leg of the consultation sessions.
